Cynthia Li started birding in 2006,.Though pretty ¡®new¡¯, her footprints has covered many hot birding spots in China, including Sichuan, Nei Mongo, Hebei, Shaanxi, Jiangxi and many mudflats along the East China coastline. She is interested in shorebirds and raptors, attended the shorebirds and terns banding expedition in Broome, Australia in 2007 and acts as the coordinator of Shanghai area in China Waterbird Census.
